The Bingsu fad from Korea has invaded KL. It is a popular Korean dessert that is composed of ice shavings, fruits and other toppings. To me, it is a premium version to what we have at KTZ in SS2 (Mango Loh, Kiwi Loh etc).

Extensive & appealing menu. One can't help but staring at it for a good 5 minutes to decide which to order. Do look out for their seasonal menu and promotions. At the time of our visit, they had 50% off for any milkshakes with every purchase of a bingsu and chocolate brownies with coconut sorbet.

(Mango Cheese Bingsu, RM16.90)

The milk- based ice shaving was really smooth and soft. This Bingsu was topped with Vanilla ice cream, mango cubes, cranberries and cheese cake cubes. One of my personal favorites as it was not too sweet. My uncle and aunty really loved this too. My only small complain was one or two mango cubes that I ate were a lil sour.

(Triple Berries Bingsu, RM17.90)

Another great choice- the topping includes Vanilla ice cream, blueberries, strawberries and cranberries. This Bingsu was slightly sweeter than the Mango Cheese Bingsu but nevertheless a really nice dessert.

(#throwback) Decided to go for a simple Shirt- Tie design for Father's Day this year.

Time spent: 15 mins
Cost (out of 5): $
Materials: Checkered colored paper for the tie (Craft Haven, 1 Utama), black sticker letters (Paper Market, Raffles City, Singapore- bought it at a 40% sale, yay!), light blue wooden heart (Typo, 1 Utama)

Stumbled upon a newly opened outlet at Damansara Jaya (the row of shops behind Inside Scoop).Goon Wah specialises in making its famous XO Claypot Fish Head Noodles, prepared with fish imported from New Zealand.

Didn't take us long to decide on what to order as the menu is not very extensive.

(Claypot XO Fish Head Noodles, RM13.50)

Though I am not a big fan of fat-ish noodle (similar to loh shee fun noodle), this dish was pretty decent. The soup was light and slightly tangy and was pretty addictive. Thankfully, the soup is refillable. The fried fish was fresh and the yam pieces was really good.

(Treasure Box Claypot Loh Shee Fun, RM12.90)

Boyfriend really liked this dish. The mince pork sauce and the crispy bits has made it one of the best loh shee fun dish that we have ever tasted. However, I would have liked it better if it was served with a raw egg (am a big big fan of eggs).

Overall, it was a good dinner. Would definitely introduce this to my family and come back to taste the other dishes.
